Walmart Subjected to Premises Liability Lawsuit
Walmart is at the root of another lawsuit this month after a worker is claiming injury on the job. Joshua Clark filed a lawsuit for premises liability after being injured on the loading dock. The lawsuit has been filed against Walmart Stores Inc., Kelley Co., and Front Engineered Solutions and includes product liability and negligence charges as well.
Clark, who works for a Walmart supplier, states that he broke his foot while unloading a pallet of soda at the 1960 Cutten Road location in spring. Due to a broken loading dock assembly and pallet jack being left unattended, his foot became trapped. He states that Walmart knew about the broken assembly equipment but had failed to fix it.
At this time Clark is asking for actual damages and associated court costs and legal fees.
