Chain Collision Of Hit & Runs Injures Six
In Denver today, a bizarre chain of hit and run collisions put six people in the hospital with minor injuries. Witnesses say a black Ford Expedition hit a parked police car and then sped away at more than 80 miles an hour. The Expedition then slammed into another car a block down and then again caroming into a Honda sedan. A fourth car, a sports utility vehicle, was hit before the car finally came to a stop against a street pole.
Besides the driver, who appeared to be intoxicated, five other people were hurt. The woman in the demolished Honda, three people in the second SUV, and one person in the unidentified car.
