Bee Farmer Awarded $1.275 Million for Car Accident Claim

A four day trial ended with victory for Allen Walker, a bee farmer, who was awarded $1.275 million in damages by a Lee County jury. The owner of Walker Farms in Fort North Myers was hurt in an accident while driving down Del Prado Boulevard in town. David Humphrey was the man driving the offending vehicle who swerved out of his lane to hit Walker and wife Joyce on September 14 2005.

David Humphrey and Eagle Engineering, his employer, were sued for injuries that are "severe and permanent" according to Walker's legal team.
