Piece of Lumber Pierces Woman's Windshield

A North Carolina woman is extremely lucky to be alive after a piece of lumber pierced through her windshield.

According to police reports Wendy Cobb was driving about 45 mph when she saw a piece of lumber coming towards her. She reported using her cell phone camera at the time because several vehicles were blocking traffic and she thought about reporting it to the authorities. 

You can watch the video online to witness the horrifying event. When asked why she didn't scream, Cobb responded that "I don't know why, I don't remember. I'd just say a 'stunned silence,' maybe.
