Car Accident Leads to Drug Arrest
Police found more than they bargained for last week after they arrived at the scene of a car accident in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
Although they were initially called to the scene of a crash on the North Side of Pittsburgh, further investigation led to the confiscation of nearly $30,000 worth of drugs stashed under the hood of one of the vehicles involved in the crash. While police weren't searching for the drugs, a firefighter opened the vehicle's hood to reduce the chances of a car fire and spotted the bags of LSD, mushrooms and ecstasy hidden there.
Now, in addition to facing charges for causing the auto accident, the young driver from North Carolina faces a variety of drug charges as well.
