Woman Says Sexual Abuse Occured at Campground

After a woman claimed to have been sexually abused at a campground in eastern Iowa, local authorities found themselves on a brief manhunt.

According to police reports the attacked was finally identified as Thomas R. Auner. He was taken into custody on charges of third-degree sexual abuse for the incident that occurred at Scales Pointe Campground. Earlier that week local authorities arrested a different man for the same charges, Timothy T. Wehmeyer. A local news station reported that the victim was sleeping in a camper with Auner and Wehmeyer when she woke up to discover that Weymeyer was having sex with her.
