Wrong Way Driver Involved in Car Accident

Although few details have been released about the fatal car accident in North Carolina, it is known that one of the vehicles was driving the wrong way on U.S. 64.

The car responsible for the crash was heading west in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 64 when it crashed into another vehicle. While the first driver appeared to emerge with non-life-threatening injuries, the driver of the impacted car, as well as a 17-year-old female passenger, lost their lives in the crash. Two more passengers were in the vehicle, both 17 year olds, but neither was injured.

At this time law enforcement officials are not releasing any additional information until they have completed their investigation of the crash. However, many are speculating about the reason behind the driver's erratic behavior.
