17 Year Old Rushed to Hospital Following Car Accident

In the state of North Carolina you are considered a Level 2 license holder if you have had your license for less than 6 months and are under the age of 18. In addition, you are not allowed to drive after 9 p.m. without adult supervision, you must wear proper seat restraints and you cannot use cell phones while driving.

Police are still investigating the accident that led to 17-year-old Chelsea Lamb being rushed to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center last week. She is now in the ICU after the car losing control of the car she was driving and eventually wrecked. The teen was out driving after 10 p.m. with her friend April Brooke English, 16, to an unknown destination. Neither of the girls were wearing seat belts and, as a result, were both ejected from the Jeep Lamb was driving.

At this time English is listed as being in stable condition at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Officers have yet to speak with English about the accident, but they believe that the car was traveling about 75 mph in a 55 mph zone when the car accident happened.
