A bus carrying students caused a multi-vehicle accident that led to the death of three people.

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, the bus was carrying college students across Dinwiddie County to a conference. For some reason, the bus driver ran into the back of a pickup truck, which then drove unintentionally into a logging truck. The force of both impacts was great enough to take all three lives of the people inside the pickup truck.

The driver has since been charged with reckless driving. Upon completion of their investigation, officers are likely to charge the driver with additional crimes as well.
