Community at a Loss After Death of 3 Teenagers

When Results Matter Most, Hire a Heavyweight

A community in Wake County is reeling after the death of three teenagers last weekend.

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, the three teenagers - Austin Flowers, 16; Lane Meyer, 16; and Matthew Speight, 17 - lost their lives when their 2011 Dodge Challenger ran off the road. Officers believe that Flowers, the driver, was going at an excessive speed when he lost control of the car, causing it to flip and then hit a tree.

There was one survivor of the crash, 16-year-old Brenden Pierce. He was last listed as in serious condition.
