News sources say that a man running for governor of North Carolina was involved in a minor car accident last weekend. Luckily, neither Bill Faison nor his aide was injured during the fender bender. According to the police report, the two were driving back from a forum when they stopped to pick up some supplies for the campaign. On the way to the aide's cousin's house, they struck another vehicle but caused minor damage. When local police arrived at the scene, Faison was given a citation for a moving violation. The gubernatorial candidate is currently a state House member and will be listed on next week's primary as a Democratic candidate.
