A Dunn man found himself behind bars last weekend after causing a fatal truck accident.
According to the Dunn police department, Samuel Alan Brown III, 25, was driving his pickup truck when he struck and killed two people riding a motorcycle. When officers arrived on the scene, they quickly determined that Brown was operating his truck under the influence. He was later arrested for two counts of felony death, as well as DUI.
The two victims - Ashli Armstrong, 20, and Chris Smith, 27 - were declared dead on the scene by paramedics. At this time, Brown remains in the Harnett County jail.
