Two Teens Hit While Participating in Scavenger Hunt

When Results Matter Most, Hire a Heavyweight

This week, two teenagers were involved in a pedestrian accident while participating in a scavenger hunt. Following the accident, both were rushed to local hospitals with serious injuries. At this time, no charges have been filed against the driver that struck them.

Based on what the victims said in addition to eyewitness reports, the pedestrians realized that a clue was across the street and proceeded to run across. However, they did not see a vehicle coming in the opposite lane. With no time to avoid the incident, the 54-year-old driver struck them.

The younger of the two teens, a 14-year-old girl, sustained serious head injuries while the older teen, a 15-year-old boy, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. News sources say the incident is still under investigation by the Kannapolis Police Department.
