While it took North Carolina Highway Patrol officers longer than expected to charge the man involved in a fatal truck accident last week, they have finally named the man they believe to be responsible.The victim, a young male, was riding his motorcycle when he attempted to make a right turn. While trying to make the turn, he was hit from behind by a late-model pickup truck, causing him to be ejected from the bike. He was then struck by a second vehicle that didn’t have time to swerve out of the way.While the County Coroner’s Office has yet to determine whether the victim’s death was caused by the first or second vehicle, police say that the first vehicle’s driver will be charged in connection to the death. Until the victim’s next of kin has been notified, his identity will not be released to the public.
