According to George Elrod, the superintendent for the Crete-Monee School District, the school plans to meet with its attorneys to determine the status of Ryndak’s employment. He was placed on paid leave earlier this month when the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services announced that they were opening an investigation on him. The identity of the victim will not be released to the public at this time.
