Truck Runs off of Interstate 70

When Results Matter Most, Hire a Heavyweight

Another semi-truck went off the road this week, this time on Interstate 70.

The driver, Kenneth D. Cooker, 58, only suffered minor injuries when his rig went off the right side of the westbound lanes of Interstate 70. He was brought to University Hospital in Columbia for further evaluation, according to a report issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report also stated that Cooker's rig drove off the roadway, down an embankment, hit several trees and a fence before coming to a complete stop. Luckily Cooker was wearing a safety device when the accident occurred.
