Police Work Over Time After Auto Accident

When Results Matter Most, Hire a Heavyweight

A deadly crash in Gastonia, NC last weekend had police working overtime. The North Carolina Highway Patrol was sent out to the scene of an accident where a vehicle had hit several trees, causing the death of the driver, 26-year-old Charles Turner.

Both Turner and his passenger, Richard Cody Danieley, 20, were trapped inside the vehicle until a passerby called in the accident around 6 a.m. Investigators reported that Danieley was transported to Gaston Memorial Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Although they are still looking into the causes of the accident, police believe that alcohol and speed were a factor in this car accident.
