Man Behind Bars Following Accident

A Dunn man found himself behind bars last weekend after causing a fatal truck accident.

According to the Dunn police department, Samuel Alan Brown III, 25, was driving his pickup truck when he struck and killed two people riding a motorcycle. When officers arrived on the scene, they quickly determined that Brown was operating his truck under the influence. He was later arrested for two counts of felony death, as well as DUI.

The two victims - Ashli Armstrong, 20, and Chris Smith, 27 - were declared dead on the scene by paramedics. At this time, Brown remains in the Harnett County jail.

When you are injured in a truck accident, you will require immediate medical attention, as well as the possibility of long-term medical attention as well. For this reason, it is important to speak with a North Carolina personal injury lawyer about your case as you may be allowed to file a lawsuit to collect compensation. Contact our firm now!
